months with your advisor

focused 50-minute calls

plan that actually sticks

You didn’t start a business to work 60 hours a week inside it.

Most owners spend their days on work that shouldn’t require them: chasing leads, fixing problems, answering every question. Meanwhile the big things wait. Those are the profit targets, the right hires, and the plan for what comes next.

GRASP changes that. It gives you a clear picture of where you stand, where you’re going, and exactly what has to happen to get there. A Growth Team Strategies advisor, who has owned and grown a business, stays with you the whole way.

How it works

12 months. 24 calls. One plan that sticks.

You meet with your GTS advisor twice a month for focused 50-minute calls. The year unfolds in three stages.

Build Your Plan

Stage 1 · Months 1–4

Eight calls to build the foundation: goals, numbers, market position and a clear action plan.

Go Deep Where It Counts

Stage 2 · Months 2–12

Choose up to six Areas of Focus from 23 options. Each one gets three dedicated calls.

Stay Accountable

Stage 3 · Months 5–12

Every call opens with accountability and your burning issue, with full business reviews at Months 7 and 12.

Stage 1: Build Your Plan

Know where you stand.

Your 1- and 5-year goals, your mission, vision and values, an honest SWOT analysis, and a Growth Readiness Assessment scoring your business across finance, people, marketing, operations and strategy.

Know your numbers.

We start with the profit you need and work backwards to the sales, proposals and leads that deliver it. Then we build your 5-year financial model, revenue projections and staffing plan.

Know why clients choose you.

We define your market position and craft a compelling marketing message backed by real proof.

Know what matters most.

You reclaim your time, identify the 5 to 10 Keys to Success your vision depends on, and turn them into a step-by-step Implementation Action Plan.

Stage 2: Go Deep Where It Counts

Every business has its own pressure points. You choose up to six Areas of Focus from 23 options, and each one gets three dedicated calls.

Stage 3: Stay Accountable

Plans fail in the follow-through. From Month 5 on, every call opens with two things.

1. Accountability

On your action plan: what got done, what didn’t, and why.

2. Your burning issue

Whatever is keeping you up at night that week.

Full business reviews at Month 7 and Month 12 measure your progress and set up your next year.

GRASP Your Numbers

What does your business actually need to sell?

GRASP starts with the profit you want and works backwards. Suddenly your marketing budget, sales goals and hiring plan all come from one number: yours.

Illustrative example: $350K overhead, 33% gross margin, 60% close rate. Your advisor builds this with your real numbers.

Profit you want — $253K

Sales needed — $1.83M

Jobs at $250K — 7

Proposals — 12

Leads — 15

Common questions

How much time does it take?
Two 50-minute calls a month, plus homework between calls. Most owners find the time pays for itself fast. Reclaiming owner time is built into the program.
Do I get to choose what we work on?
Yes. The core plan is the same for everyone, but you and your advisor choose your Areas of Focus by your third call, based on where your business needs it most.
Who is GRASP for?
Owners of established remodeling, flooring, landscaping and deck-building companies, marinas and other service businesses who are ready to grow profitably, build a team that runs without them, or plan their exit.
What happens after 12 months?
Your final business review re-scores your Growth Readiness, compares your KPIs to where you started, and sets your top priorities for the next 12 months.
